I'm really not sure why, but every once in awhile I get in this mood where I have to listen to The Killingtons. There's something amazing about their music that just gets me. It's odd, because I've tried showing this band to a few people and no one has ever been blown away. It shouldn't surprise me, but it still does. That term, ethnocentric... Sometimes I get like that where I can't understand how people don't see the world the same way I do. Or hear the same amazing thing about a certain band or song. And I try so hard to see the world through other people's eyes. But really I'm in my own little world. Where I can play a song really loud and sing with it, and it does something to me that I'm not sure does the same thing to anyone else. (Did that make sense?) It makes all my stress about responsibilities vanish for 4 whole minutes. Then the song finishes and real life sets back in. (Man I still need to do homework tonight.)

i def. feel the same way. some songs just become a part of me; i share them with others like i share my dark secrets.
